Target Species
Sailfish
Sailfish are a prized catch in our waters. We target these stunning, high-speed predators with live bait. Known for their acrobatics and beauty, sailfish offer an unforgettable fishing experience.
Mahi Mahi
Mahi Mahi are among the most sought-after fish for both their taste and vibrant appearance. The peak season is during the summer when offshore schools are most active.
Wahoo
Wahoo are a top-tier catch for sushi lovers, offering some of the best-tasting fish in the ocean. Although they’re available year-round, October and full moon periods are especially productive. We catch them by high-speed trolling near wrecks.
Blackfin Tuna
Blackfin tuna fishing is excellent in the winter and spring. We typically target them on afternoon trips, as they rise in the water column as the sun sets. Fast trolling near wrecks is our go-to method for getting on the bite.
King Mackerel
King mackerel, or “kingfish,” are available year-round and are most abundant in the spring. These fish patrol the shallow inner reefs close to the beach and are popular for smoking into delicious fish dips.
Grouper
Fort Lauderdale offers outstanding grouper fishing during the open season May – December. We target these powerful bottom dwellers while wreck fishing, most commonly catching black and gag grouper.
Snapper
Snapper fishing is excellent year-round in our area. We bottom fish around wrecks and reefs, frequently catching yellowtail, mutton, and vermilion snapper—each offering great action and even better table fare.
Sharks
We catch a variety of BIG shark species, including bull, tiger, nurse, lemon, and hammerhead sharks. These waters are especially known for seasonal migrations of very large hammerhead sharks, offering exciting opportunities for sport fishing.
Where We Fish
Thanks to the proximity of the continental shelf, we never have to go more than a mile offshore. All our fishing will be done very close to shore, making for a fun, safe, and enjoyable experience.
